My second wedding of the weekend was Worcestershire right in the middle of this weekends floods in England, day long warnings, from Sky and the RAC about dont go to the area unless its an emergency … but I went … a few diversions later I made it. For Stu and Helen it was close they shut the road to the church … but the wedding went on !!

The wedding reception was in Kateshill Bewdley, the tree in the garden had to be seen to be believed, one of Englands oldest trees, it was here where Stu had proposed.

Theory is that the tree was planted in 1567 by Sir Henry Sidney, Lord High Admiral of England, to celebrate the birth of a daughter, astonishing the tree has a current girth of 33 feet 8 inches (10.2 metres) and spreads over no less than a quarter of an acre.
