Maria and Ricks wedding was held at 116 Pall Mall Institute of Directors Wedding in London. Here are a few wedding photos from the day.
116 Pall Mall Institute of Directors is an impressive venue is both flexible and fun, in the heart of London starting with a columned entrance and incredible staircase the venue also has with eight magnificent and individually designed function rooms which makes it an excellent wedding venue with lots of options. The venue has fantastic light throughout the indoors a golden yellow marbled walls, for a wedding photographer it is perfect.
The garden outside really works aswell with fantastic back light even when the sun goes in the shadowed light works because of the white old buildings that surround the gardens. We did the all the bridal portraits and a few family portraits in the garden. The big group photo we did on the stairs of the building inside.The staircase made for perfect planning of the day, after the group photo, guests turned and went straight to dinner.
One of the wedding photos here was inspired after seeing last months cover of Esquire magazine with Siena Miller and having that photo in my mind I was happy to see the hotel room had a similar look. Maria though unlike Sienna was wearing a tight fitting wedding dress. Maria though was a great sport and a brilliant model, I managed to get this great bridal portrait of her.
Without a doubt I think the next wedding trend for 2014 will be the selfstyled wedding selfies. So many guests were doing this. It was good to capture that story as part of the day aswell.
