While it is not as famous as Santorini, Sifnos is definitely one of the top locations to have your wedding in Greece. The romantic ambiance of the island provides you with the ideal setting where you can make your dream wedding come true. Furthermore, if you want your wedding to incorporate religious elements, the small church by the sea would be a perfect choice. With a number of luxurious hotels and restaurants, as well as picturesque beaches, Sifnos in Greece lets you have the magic moment you’ve always dreamt of. As I’ve been a Sifnos wedding photographer, I can assure you that the island is a true punch of Greek flavor.

Lazarou Beach Wedding venue

Lazarou Beach venue is where the wedding reception was held. James and Anna arrived there by boat from Chrysopigi.   Lazarou beach offers spectacular views and has its own beach, perfect for the after-dinner party and dancing. It looks chic, the restaurant is widely famous for its exquisite cuisine, as well as for its outdoor surroundings, designed on stone and arbors. Lazarou Beach is a perfect location for a wedding and reception. It was so beautiful and everyone that I worked with there was so helpful.

Elies Resort is where I took the wedding photos. For a wedding photographer, the venue was perfect, just one look at the portraits and Anna getting ready, you can see how I envied Sifnos wedding photographers, I wish I had that light every week.

Chrysopigi church

 Chrysopigi church located in Chrysopigi, Sifnos. There are 365 churches on the island of Sifnos. Of course Chrysopigi is perhaps the most recognizable church on Sifnos and certainly symbolizes the island.  Again the island of Sifnos is not so well known as Santorini or Mykonos,  I had so much fun at this greek wedding venue and was so easy to get to.
