City Hall in Stockholm
I photographed another winter wedding in Stockholm this past weekend. The wedding was held at Stockholm City Hall, called Stadshuset, where two days earlier it hosted the Nobel Prize dinner. It is of course is one of Stockholms most iconic buildings and one of the capital’s most visited venues. So you can imagine it really is a wonderful place for a wedding in the center of Stockholm. Tim and Angela both from Lancaster came to Stockholm with 18 family and guests. Saturday they were treated to fantastic weather and great light. They had both hoped for snow but that wasnt to be.
One of the most amazing things about photographing winter weddings in Stockholm is how quickly we lose daylight. In the photo s below they were taken one hour apart. The first photo was taken at 15.00, the second photo at 15.45 and the bottom photo was taken at 15.57. I had done my photographers homework the day before and worked out the photos where we could take the photos, when I walked from the venue to the reception at the exact time.
I will post more photos from this Stockholm wedding later in the week.
