Im extremely proud to say that I have my first Gold medal with the WPJA . The WPJA the Wedding Photojournalist Association a professional organization of the best photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. The members have a distinctive artistic vision towards wedding photography , leaders in the industry, their candid, documentary approach are inspirational . So with that, Im proud that my peers have chosen one of my images .

It really was an amazing wedding day for London based couple Dan and Darja, less than thirty minutes before the photograph was taken the sun was shining … then the ‘ Ghostbusters ‘ cloud on the horizon headed towards us … with a lot of rain ! . Staff helped with umbrellas . As pleased as i was with the umbrella photo , the kiss photo was also challenging being so dark and with dark umbrellas I had to make my way forward . As you can imaging it was very difficult to see anything so I stepped forward for the shot … the third shot here was taken by my daughter Elle , just at 13 years old at every wedding I can take her on she exceeds herself , if there was a little more umbrella and a little more space , I think there would be another winning photographer in the family . Elle is always a winning photographer with me.
