Garden weddings will not get better than this, Axelvold, the home of Claus Wachtmeister. With the backdrop of a splendid 19th century house, the gardens fall away to the north and south many hundreds of yards, forming architectural vistas bordered by hornbeam hedges. Roses and peonies flowered all over the garden. Some of the roses were over 100 years old . Drinks were served garden in a charming garden trellis beautifully designed opening up over the garden. This really was a perfect country house wedding.
