Just had a great assignment in Barcelona, I went there to photograph two jobs, actually both were birthdays. One a 84th birthday the other a joint 50th birthday party. The two venues were fantastic one at the Manderin Oriental hotel the other a private, soon not to be private club called Mutis.
Manderin Oriental is a fantastic Barcelona wedding venue, Mutis also would be a perfect venue for a wedding, it certainly was a perfect place for a party, I will of course post more photos later but I would want to give away the secrets of Mutis.
At this time of year it is a reflection of the best of 2014 weddings photos, I am slowly composing a list of my faves. These two photos I have posted here may come close.
The first of Mamy an amazing lady with an amazing lifestory, I hope I look that good when I am 84 in the photo she has just come out of the hair salon, she was just radiaiting with happiness. The second photo of C & N was taken when we did a portrait session at the venue, as you know I love natural looking portraits with movement, I cant relay the secret that the couple were thinking about, but I know this moment will be with their families for ever.
